11.DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY:

Our branch in DRC, South-Kivu region, Fizi Territorial/Baraka- Mshimbakye II, continue its agricultural activities as

seen in the picture below.

Fizi is one of the territorial within the country of DRC, which has suffered from the problems of war for many years and violence, its people do not know what to do and end up living as refugees for many years.

In today’s situation, the Fizi territorial is in trouble suffering from hunger as well as continuous to face poverty.

The SOPADAS organization continues with agricultural activities, but it does not bring success quickly because of the lack of modern agricultural tools to cultivate a large space in order to get enough crops to meet the needs of the beneficiaries such as employment.

We will not be able to achieve our goals without empowerment.

We ask that organizations can help us to increase our strength for agricultural projects in Fizi territorial and some other part of DRC

12.OUTPUT INDICATOR:

The plan prepared for agriculture, to be done in a timely manner,

Most of those who agreed with the plan, they are the ones in the front line to work

13.OUTCOME INDICATOR:

An increase in requests from the communities to join the SOPADAS organization,

14.IMPACT INDICATOR:

Community to trust the organization as a tool that will carry and achieve their future dreams by involving them in the development

Movement in agriculture,

15.CHALLENGE OBSERVED:

Absence of modern agricultural equipment within the organization, in order to enable it to cultivate a large space and achieve income

that will meet the needs for the development of the organization’s projects and target groups/communities,

The small participation of the organization in various internal and external trainings to improve the knowledge of methods and strategic

For production as well as market research in the world for the benefits of its agricultural groups,

Improvement of highways and local roads to transport groups produce to their rural markets,

The lack of means of transport enables the organization to monitor the development of agricultural projects for groups, to provide

Training to those who are located far from the organization.

16.SUGGESTIONS:

The SOPADAS organization is asking to be empowered through new agricultural equipment to enable groups of farmers to cultivate large areas and reach them to get many crops that will help them meet their basic needs while we continuing doing other self-employment projects

The organization is also in need of transportation equipment to help it visit groups of small farmers in a way that they can monitor progress and provide them with various training.

We also requests to be invited to participate in external training organized by large organizations for various methods

Of eradicating hunger and climate change in the world.
