PLANS TO MONITOR THE EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT OF OUR CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS.

3. Objective:

Ø To be aware of schools environment and areas sounding our kids for the sake of their safety and in class progression

Ø To do a student follow up and school inspection over the risk and stress that caused by those who have bad behavior

Ø To visit teachers at schools and discuss regarding students’ progress

   5. Target Expound:

   We have had meetings with some parents and explained the importance of having this project; Parents gave their opinions and have suggested that the organization should organize an event and discuss the matter which will bring the answer and solution to our community on 3th June 2023, time between 2pm to 5pm, the event took place and parents abided to the agenda and started giving their opinions regarding some issues they know as the fact of dropout school: To relinquish on your child without being able to know their daily basis life style in and out off home to allow kids to use social-media without reasonable intention and limitation when a parent gives his/her work priorities and cannot focus or giving attention on family matters especially education of their children and others, All these creates confusion to a child and some of them get lost, others once they finish high school diploma they do not wish to go to a college/ university, although majority run to look for jobs around and end-up with low –wages jobs

Evaluation on child education progress

What is the education benefits we found at present and in future from our children who have finished a high school diploma!

Conclusion; what has to be done to bring value of our children education!

6.1. Evaluation for a child’ education progress

Parents straight admitted that they are the cause of the drop out school crisis of their children, because of undefined quarrelling between parents which separates and bring disgrace to a family, it also creates disrespectful to kids whom then decides what to do and choose to base on one side or none of them as children rights says

Our society has become too busy with work and other things, we forgot a very important thing in our

Children’ life, like motivating them to pursue their dream through education found here in USA, compare to our origin countries where we were unable to take our kids to college and university because of poverty and poor educational structure.

Following Pyramid indicates; School progression for developed counties which based on free & quality education

A child gets free education at kindergarten level from government institution

A child gets primary education at no cost from the government institution

Children attend high schools with a free education program and have an opportunity for free scholarship

Unsuccessfully ones still have a second chance and a loan opportunity that help them to further their study and then pay it at a given period after completing the studies

DEVELOPED COUNTRIES’ PYRAMID

The Pyramid below; indicates School progression for children in Africa and undeveloped countries

Many children start kindergarten level, but the number drops out day by day because their parents cannot afford the school fee

Primary schools as well, many attend it but the number goes down day by day because their parents / guardian/s cannot afford the school fee and other contributions

The same at high school and worse at college / university where the number drop out more, because their parents cannot pay the fees and other expenses

Since we are living at the first pyramid which has many opportunities for our children to study well and obtain a quality education, how come we parents forgot to encourage our children to complete their college/ university studies!

6.2. What is the present and future profit we have found from our children who have finished a high school diploma and they are not interested to go to college / university!

Parents have become lazy to do a school follow-up of their children and did not make good plans for them to complete university / college. Parents also seem not to determine and distinguish the consequence which their children will face in future for not taking full responsibility of children school progress, but since we have reminded them concerning the matter when we invited them on an event we had on 03/06/2023, they said they will try their best to work on the plans which they got at the event on how to be keen with a child’ school progress.

6.3. Conclusion; what has to be done to bring value of our children education!

· Parents came with a conclusion that, they will be devoted to do a school follow-up for their children

· Parents approved a gender based training to help them resolve problems that continue to raise into their family

· They agreed to a plan of having discussion often with their children regarding their school progress

· They also agreed to the organization plan to continue with seminars, events that will empower and give them guidance to their children succession and other developments.

7. Organization advancement within the seminar / event

7.1. Immediate progression

· Event to be held at the time it was planed 02:00PM – 05:00PM

· To find out the fact of the problem concerning our agenda

· Parents to abide to a plan and advise of not being lazy to do a school follow-up of their children

7.2. Intermediate progress:

We are hoping on boosting a massive number of children’ ambition to apply and join college / university for this year of 2023 – 2024

We anticipate on getting high school children statistics of those who complete their study every year to help us with their schools’ assessment process

7.3. Seminar’ long-term benefits:

To have five children who have acquired a degree, masters and bachelors every year

We look forward to get twenty children to join college / university and finish the study every year

A hope of getting thirty (30) children who have completed an obtained a high school diploma

8. Complexity

Our seminar grounding went well although some people who were invited did not attend the it, 30 people were expected to attend the seminar, then only 13 managed to come

The cause of the drop down number of the audience were affected by the funeral and later on a wedding that took place on the same day at our community areas

Those from the families that were having the funeral and wedding they were not able to make it and caused the number of the spectators to drop down

We sent invitations to Warren central High School, Bowling Green High school, International Communities liaison Neighborhood and community service and international center which works with refugees and none from them attended the seminar

8.1 The main reason of inviting schools’ board member was because we wanted to get information regarding:

Knowing deeply our children behavior when they are at school

Their study progress

Any other trouble caused by

Teachers’ information was going to be usefully to the organization and parents, as we were willing to hear the insight and come-up with a great plan to sort-out the above mentioned crises in schools

8.2. The reason why we invited International Center whom work with Refugees:

· Since the organization does held meetings every and after three months, as they learn and discover refugee problems

8.3. The main reason of inviting international communities liaison neighborhood and communities services:

To ask them to assist small groups which are involved into social activists that brings changes to our community for present and future development.

9. Suggestion on how to except the situation:

Parents recommended that this kind of seminars/ meetings that helps refugees to have an opportunity to discuss about the tribulations that affect our community has to be done often and engage all of our communities

They also advised and suggested that all small groups involve into our society to work together as a way to solve community’ problems with a not time wasted

10. Engagements / suggestion from the audience

Parents reminded one another to stay very closer with their children and help them to accomplish their study at university level as a well-again way to achieve a better life

Parents advised younger organizations to co-operate and to continue with unity, and not depending on the outsider, moreover they have to be more creative to improve their income by organizing different fundraising activity like in sport, African tradition dance, culture and much more which will help to boosting the income for serving the community.
